Reimagining an interface of a vital medical equipment includes layers of regulations and risk management issues. When those aspects are not so heavily in the equation we can focus on the human aspects of the product, identifying interactions and issues that are not obviously present in the product operation, but exist in the context that the device exists.
These interactions include the sound that alarms make, the intimidating seriousness of the waveforms and beeps and vitals.
This concept explores a twist in those aspects, creating a light and fluffy experience that gets out of the way of human interactions.
