HERE Explore
The HERE Explore app delivered a door to local knowledge about cities all over the globe. The contextual recommendations engine was fueled by the lists created by users everywhere. Once the right place is found it is easy to navigate to it.
The focused app offered ways to quickly find a specific place or browse categories including what was right around you.
Initially launched only in the Windows Phone platform the app received a full redesign aiming the Android platform with key enhancements such as public shareable lists of places, profiles of key influencers and novel ways of finding the right place for the occasion.
The Android version was never launched, remaining as a concept.
My role: design manager, overseeing the concept and defining the value proposition with peers in engineering and product marketing leadership. Managing a team of 6 designers and one design researcher.
