Living maps
Digital maps should not be static. Life pulsates in cities across the globe and everything that happens happens somewhere. This is the basic premise of the Living Maps concept, a vision exercise to display social activities and experiences having the map canvas as the background.
In the screens, we see the location of our friends and that triggers immediate conversations and spontaneous meetings that become memories for us and our friends and inspiration for others.
Locals and travelers meet in this space exchanging notes and ideas of how to experience the most interesting places in the world.
My role: design manager, briefing the project and overseeing the design across three screen sizes and contexts of use.
